It is with much sadness that we must report that EKR will be ceasing transmissions this Sunday at midnight. Despite attracting unprecedented levels of listening for an internet radio station, we have simply been unable to translate this into a financially sustainable service . . and the pot has run dry!
Many thanks to all of our loyal listeners who we suspect will be almost as disappointed as we are.
The WDJ streams will be continuing from Canterbury produced by Pete Leutner as a separate service. We need to make it clear that East Kent Radio is a separate legal entity from EKR Internet Radio / EKR Network which has been officially closed down as a company. We wish Pete well with this new and separate venture which can be found here.
